Petition Statement:

Downtown Moncton is in crisis.

Every day, property owners, business operators, employees, and residents are being affected by escalating crime - including vandalism, theft, drug use, break-ins, and harassment. These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a growing pattern of lawlessness that is damaging our economy, threatening safety, and degrading the core of our community. We are calling on the City of Moncton, the Province of New Brunswick, and the Government of Canada to act - and to act now.

We, the undersigned, are demanding:

1) A Clear and Public Commitment to Zero Tolerance for Crime: No more excuses. No more blurred lines. Criminals must have consequences - every time.

2) Immediate Measures to Protect Businesses and Residents: This includes stronger law enforcement presence, visible consequences for repeat offenders, and the enforcement of existing bylaws.

3) Accountability from All Levels of Government: We are no longer willing to accept jurisdictional finger-pointing. The people who live and work here deserve coordinated, immediate action - not delays and deferrals. Crime is not a political issue - it is a public safety issue.

This petition is a call to action, not a cry for sympathy. We are speaking with one voice: Enough is Enough. If you support a safer, more secure downtown Moncton - sign your name. We will deliver this petition to elected officials at every level of government and keep the pressure on until action is taken. Call to Action: Sign below to join the call for Zero Tolerance for Crime in Downtown Moncton. Your voice matters. Your safety matters. Let’s take our city back.
